I plan to use it in the near future for our church family. Two Sundays ago marked the 1 year anniversary of the passing of one of our church’s children, Garett Chanley. This young child lost his battle to cancer at the age of 3 (almost 4) and on the week of his one year anniversary his father gave testimony during our service of God’s provision for them through this difficult year.
Through the 9 month battle with cancer and passing of Garret nearly 400,000 visits were made to his caringbridge website and the gospel went forth to thousands of people.
I praise the Lord for the Chanley family and for their honest faith during the darkest time of their families’s life. They haven’t wasted the “gift” of cancer.
